Agavero Tequila Liqueur

The year is 1857 in the Jalisco region of Mexico. Master Distiller Lazaro Gallardo is hard at work creating a secret recipe. An exclusive recipe for Agavero, to cater to the sophisticated palate of his close friends. Named after the blue agave plant, Agavero s, Gallardos personal secret recipe has been passed down for generations. Today, over a century later, Agavero is still meticulously produced by hand according to techniques created by Master Lazaro Gallardo himself, years and years ago. Agavero Tequila is an ultra-premium Liqueur crafted from a unique blend of 100 percent blue agave aejo and reposado tequilas, and hand blended with the essence of the Damiana flower for unparalleled smoothness and taste.Agavero is produced at Los Camichines Distillery in Jalisco, one of the largest tequila making regions in Mexico, where the native blue agave plant is grown. Proximo Spirits is the exclusive importer for Agavera Camichines Distillers. Agavera Camichines quite poetically translates loosely as little fruit of the agave. The company was founded in 1800, and produces a wide range of tequilas and tequila-based spirits. They have recently vamped up production and have started manufacturing a range of Gins, Vodka, and even Whiskey. The master distiller selects the highest quality 100 percent blue agave aejo and reposado tequilas that have been separately aged in specially charred, French Limousin oak barrels. The aejo tequila is aged up to eighteen months in the bespoke French oak, and the reposado is rested for almost a year. These tequilas are then combined and then hand blended with the essence of the Damiana flower, a flower indigenous to the rolling mountains of Jalisco. Damiana grows wild in this region of Mexico, and it has long been believed to have been used by the indigenous people of Mexico to incite desire, essentially, as an aphrodisiac. At 64 proof, Agavero is a pretty mellow versatile spirit. It may not be the drink of choice for the tequila purist at heart, but the spirits distinct elements brim with the authenticity of indigenous Mexico. Enjoy Agavero neat, on the rocks or in a variety of cocktails (definitely Margaritas). Pick up your bottle today!
