In 31 career starts, Bardstown had 18 first place finishes, 7 second place finishes and 1 third place finish. By the time he retired at the age of 8, Old Bardstown was one of the top racing horses of his time.Old Bardstown Estate Bottled-in-Bond Whiskey pays homage to the legacy of the American Thoroughbred. The bourbon is made from a large amount of malted barley (15 percent) in the mash, which is fermented with Kentucky limestone water. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled before the bourbon is matured for ten years in new, American oak casks. Then, the bourbon is brought to 100 proof before being bottled.Pick up your bottle today!
