Asbach Uralt is a German brandy produced by the Asbach GmbH. Its history dates back to the late 19th century when Hugo Asbach founded the company in the town of Rdesheim am Rhein, at 24 years old. A Cologne native, Hugo gained knowledge for the industry from a local Export-Company for German Cognac.
