Cadenheads

Old Raj Gin was first introduced in 1972 and is produced by WM Cadenhead, an independent bottler based in Scotland. Best known for their whiskey and rum, Cadenheads launched Old Raj Gin back in 1972. There are two distinct versions of Old Raj produced with different ABVs. Each gin style is made with nine botanicals: juniper berries, orange and lemon peel, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root, cassia bark, almond powder, and saffron. The botanicals (except saffron) are distilled with the base spirit. The gin is made using a Cadenheads signature recipe and then shipped to Campbeltown where they reduce the ABV and add saffron prior to bottling.
